Social Media Meltdown: Facebook and Instagram Plunge into Widespread Outage Leaving Users in Limbo

Welcome to Fan Reviews News.

Today thousands of users experienced issues while trying to access Facebook, Instagram, and even Facebook Messenger.

According to outage tracker Downdetector, as many as 500,000 Facebook users reported problems logging in or accessing the site.

Additionally, around 50,000 outage reports were issued for Instagram, and another 10,000 were filed for Facebook Messenger.

However, it's important to note that the number of reports began to decrease within an hour after the outage started.

It is still unclear what exactly caused the outage, but Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, has since issued a statement acknowledging the disruption and stating that they are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

The widely-used social media platforms have resumed normal operations, and all seems to be back to its usual state.
