Unidentified assailants bombed the All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU) office in Imphal, resulting in one death and one injury.

Oinam Kenegy, 24, died, while Salam Michael, also 24, is hospitalized.

Police are investigating, with no suspects identified yet.

Prohibitory orders were in place in the area due to prior disputes.

In another incident, a school's administrative section was vandalized and torched.
