Skating legends retire 40 years after Olympic win
British ice skating legends Torvill and Dean have announced their retirement, 40 years after they won the gold medal at the Winter Olympics in 1984 and earned the highest ever score for a single performance.
Jayne Torvill OBE and Christopher Dean OBE reflected on their Olympic triumph as they announced the news.
Mr Dean said: "We've been together that long and we're still together.
