Leaders clash over mortgage costs during PMQs
During Prime Minister’s Questions Sir Keir Starmer accuses Rishi Sunak of not having “any level of basic understanding” over the cost-of-living crisis and mortgage rates.
In response, the prime minister says his government has a “plan that is working”, hailing recent cuts in National Insurance and claims Labour would take the country “back to square one”.
