Roman the 4-H project steer got loose Sunday 28 Jan 2024.

The owners asked me to saddle up my mare, Avi, and bring a rope - so I could help search - and when we found him we could rope him and get him back home.

Some of the owner family searched on foot, some by car, some on a four wheeler.

My horse logged over 13 miles searching.

We called off the search about 3:30am.
