In a shocking incident that unfolded on Wednesday morning, an Assam Rifles jawan stationed in South Manipur near the Indo-Myanmar border allegedly opened fire on his colleagues before turning the weapon on himself.

Reports suggest that the incident occurred after the personnel had returned from his home in Churachandpur following a leave.
