NBC reports that Netflix's first major move into live sports comes as a ten-year deal valued at over $5 billion.

According to a company filing, Netflix will retain the option to exit the deal after five years, or extend the contract for another decade.

In exchange, Netflix will be able to stream 'Raw' globally, including exclusive rights to the show in the United States, Canada, Britain and Latin America.

Outside of the U.S., Netflix will also become home for all WWE shows, including SmackDown and NXT, and specials like Wrestlemania, Royal Rumble and SummerSlam.

Following news of the deal, shares in TKO leapt over 20% in premarket trading.

A separate announcement helped boost those stock gains as superstar Dwayne Johnson revealed he would join TKO's board of directors.
