India's Neighbour Becomes First Country From South Asia To Join U.S.' Anti-Houthi War | Details

Sri Lanka's Navy announced that it was joining a U.S.-led maritime unit against Houthis.

Sri Lanka's Naval Spokesperson said, "W will be joining Operation Prosperity Guardian." Gayan Wickramasuriya said the country will dispatch a patrol vessel crewed by more than 100 people.

Wickramasuriya added that the move would add no additional cost as the vessel was already patrolling Sri Lanka's vast maritime boundary.
