PSLV-C58 XPoSat: India successfully launches satellite to study black holes | Watch | Oneindia

Welcoming the New Year, a PSLV rocket launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, carrying a total of 11 satellites, including ISRO's groundbreaking X-Ray Polarimeter Satellite (XPoSat).

XPoSat marks India's inaugural dedicated polarimetry mission, designed to investigate the intricate dynamics of bright astronomical X-ray sources, particularly in extreme conditions.

The successful deployment of XPoSat into Low Earth Orbit occurred during the PSLV-C58 rocket's 60th mission, as confirmed by ISRO.

This mission is expected to yield valuable insights into celestial phenomena such as black holes.
