Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Ayodhya today to inaugurate the city's newly constructed airport and unveil the redeveloped railway station.

The prime minister engaged in a lively roadshow through the city, with heavy security in place.

Amid cheers and flower showers from gathered crowds, Prime Minister Modi waved as his convoy traversed the roads.

The 8-kilometre roadshow commenced shortly after the prime minister's arrival at the temple town, starting from airport gate number 3 and progressing towards the highway, where eager onlookers sought a glimpse of him.

Expressing excitement, local resident Prakash Bajpayee remarked, "It's indeed a significant day for us.

Ayodhya has reclaimed its lost glory, thanks to our Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and PM Narendra Modi.
