Threat! Email Targets RBI and Major Mumbai Banks, Demands Resignation of Top Officials| Oneindia
Mumbai Police disclosed that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and banks like HDFC and ICICI received a bomb threat via email.
The sender, demanding the resignation of RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, claimed to have planted bombs at 11 Mumbai locations.
Despite investigating, police found no explosives.
The email cited an alleged scam involving top officials.
A similar threat targeted Mumbai International Airport in November 2023.
