NBC reports that a former assistant has filed a lawsuit accusing actor Vin Diesel of sexual assault in a 2010 incident at an Atlanta hotel.
According to the lawsuit filed on December 21, Asta Jonasson alleges violations that includes a hostile work environment, retaliation and wrongful termination.
The lawsuit also accuses Diesel and one of his production companies, One Race Productions Inc., of failure to prevent discrimination and sexual battery.
Through his attorney, Bryan Freedman, Diesel , "categorically denies this claim in its entirety.".

The lawsuit also states that Jonasson was required to sign a nondisclosure agreement, which prevented her from publicly discussing anything regarding Diesel.
According to the suit, Jonasson felt empowered to speak up by the Me Too movement and is protected by the Speak Out Act, which voids NDAs for victims of sexual assault.
