Mahesh Kumawat, the sixth individual implicated in the Parliament security breach, was detained by the Delhi Police on Saturday following confirmation of his involvement in the entire conspiracy.
The arrest came after an extensive interrogation session.
Mahesh, hailing from Nagaur district in Rajasthan, played a significant role in the breach, including aiding the escape of the key conspirator, Lalit Jha, to his hideout in Rajasthan.
Mahesh also collaborated with Lalit in destroying the mobile phones of the initial four accused arrested, as per sources.
