Donald Trump’s historic and unprecedented trial for alleged crimes he committed while in office is about to get a whole lot more historical as the US supreme court is about to weigh in.

Special counsel Jack Smith has now asked the highest court in the country to make a ruling on whether or not Donald Trump may run in 2024.
