Johnson 'thought about' sacking Hancock but saw no advantage
Boris Johnson admits he "thought about" sacking his then-health secretary Matt Hancock in 2020, but decided against it as he "didn't see any advantage" to the country in doing so.
The former prime minister says claims from his aide Dominic Cummings that he kept Matt Hancock in his position to be a "sacrifice" at the inquiry were "nonsense".
