Pannun Murder Plot: U.S officials say Washington takes the allegations ‘very seriously’| Oneindia

White House spokesperson John Kirby addressed the indictment by the US Justice Department against an Indian national involved in an alleged foiled assassination plot, saying Washington takes the allegations “very seriously”.

Kirby cushioned the statement by stressing the importance of the bilateral relationship between the two countries.

India remains a strategic partner of the US and the US is going to continue to work to improve and strengthen the partnership with India but the allegations of the assassination plot are very serious, White House official John Kirby said on being asked about the indictment of an Indian national in a 'plot-to-kill' Gurpatwant Pannun.
