2023 at a conference titled, "Securing the future monetary system: cyber security for central bank digital currencies." This future discussed cybersecurity for the CBDC.

Carsten expects, "CBDCs to sit at the core of the future financial system." The future of money is CBDC.

But US States could circumvent this financial system with a gold-backed digital currency.
