Glenn Maxwell battled through pain and became the first batter to hit a double hundred in a run chase in ODIs in a magnificent evening in Mumbai on November 7.

The Maxwell magic had the crowd at the Wankhede Stadium roaring and cheering for the Australian legend.

Maxwell scripted a knock reminiscent of Kapil Dev's iconic 175* in the 1983 World Cup, as he single-handedly pulled off one of the most unthinkable heists with the greatest ever World Cup performance.

Former and current cricketers showered Maxwell with praise for playing an all-time great knock that helped Australia book a semi-final spot at the 2023 Men's Cricket World Cup.
