The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is investigating the Mahadev Book App and has claimed that Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel was paid Rs 508 crore by the platform's promoters.
The BJP released a video featuring Shubham Soni, an accused in the case, claiming ownership and providing proof of the payment, triggering a political controversy ahead of the elections.
The ruling Congress dismissed the video as a BJP conspiracy.
