Braverman: AI could enable criminals to share child abuse

Suella Braverman has warned that whilst AI poses opportunities to grow the economy and boost public services, it also “poses real dangers” such as criminals using it to “propagate their depraved criminal behaviour such as online child sexual abuse.” The home secretary said that Online Safety Act will impose tougher restrictions on technology companies to make “the UK one of the safest places for children to be online.” Report by Covellm.
