Israel has amassed a huge military presence along the Gaza border ahead of a possible ground attack into Gaza.

The defence force announced that they are prepared for a multifaceted offensive.

The Israeli army on Sunday gave a 3-hour deadline for residents in northern Gaza to vacate the region and move south ahead of a possible ground attack into Gaza.

Senior army officials have warned that the area would be turned into an "active combat zone" once the operation is launched.
