Gaza City residents evacuate to south after Israeli army warning

"We don't know where to go, where is safe," says Mohamed Abu Ali as Israel calls on Gaza City residents to evacuate [the area] and head towards the south of the besieged Gaza Strip.

Flyers dropped by the Israeli army on the enclave warned residents against returning to their homes until the army notifies them to do so.

Since 7 October when Hamas militants launched a surprise attack in southern Israel, more than 1,300 people have been killed in Israel and more than 1,500 in Gaza after Israel’s heavy bombardment of the territory.
