Shivamogga Eid clash: 43 arrested; Siddaramaiah says won’t tolerate such activities | Oneindia News
A day after tension gripped Karnataka's Shivamogga district as two communities clashed during the Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi processions near Ragigudda, 43 people involved in the unrest were arrested on Monday.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that the government will not tolerate people throwing stones at religious processions of other religions.
The Shivamogga district administration imposed section 144 in Ragigudda on Monday.
CM Siddaramiah assured people that, currently, the situation is under control.
