Sunak ‘absolutely confident’ UK will meet net zero targets
Rishi Sunak has insisted he is "absolutely confident" the UK is on track to meet its net zero targets a day after weakening a host of pledges designed to help the UK combat climate change.
Speaking at Writtle University College in Essex, the prime minister said, “the reason I’m confident is because we have delivered on all our carbon budgets to date.” Report by Ajagbef.
