Iran president says Saudi ties with Israel would betray Palestinians

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi accuses regional rival Saudi Arabia of betraying the Palestinians by seeking to normalize relations with Israel, while speaking on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.

Saudi Arabia and Israel have voiced optimism that they are moving closer to a historic normalization of ties between the two countries.
