Junior doctors and consultants stage biggest NHS strike ever

Junior doctors hold a picket outside University College Hospital in London, as they hold their first joint strike with consultants over fair pay.

The strike is set to be the biggest walkout in NHS history.

The health service is having to pay millions of pounds to fill positions left by those taking industrial action, with significant disruption expected.
