Barrancos village, where bulls are killed in the name of 'tradition' despite Portugal's ban

The village of Bararncos upholds local tradition despite Portugal's 1928 ban on killing bulls at bullfighting ceremonies or "corridas".

"You have to respect the culture.

It's a culture that goes back centuries," says student Leonor Burgos.

But Tania Mesquita, member of the 'People, Animals, Nature' party says: "It violates and contradicts all current legal standards."
