Minister: Offer made to junior doctors is final

The government says its offer to junior doctors will remain final as doctors in England begin their fifth round of strikes for four full days.

John Glen, Chief Secretary to the Treasury, urged doctors to accept the outcome of the independent pay review body, saying: “we can’t have inflationary pay settlements”.
