Australia’s ‘Meteor’ Likely Space Debris from Russian Rocket

A streak of light lit up Melbourne's night sky on Monday August 7, but the Australian Space Agency identified it as the remains of a Russian rocket.

The eyewitness footage showed long streaks of light moving behind buildings in the city center.
