Ban on import of laptops: Will it be positive for the Indian economy? | Explained | Oneindia News
One more move towards Make-in-India.
The central government has decided to impose import restrictions on laptops, tablets, personal computers and ultra-small computers and servers with immediate effect.
Any person or company will now need permission or a licence from the government to import these devices.
To get a licence, one has to be a regular importer.
