Lizzo, whose real name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson, said that while she normally does not respond to allegations, this lawsuit "is too outrageous to not be addressed.".

Lizzo said that the former employees who filed the lawsuit against her , "have already publicly admitted that they were told their behavior on tour was inappropriate and unprofessional.".
