Govt to review rollout of low-traffic neighbourhoods

A government minister has defended a move to review the rollout of low-traffic neighbourhood policies, after Rishi Sunak sought to assure motorist that he was “on their side”.

Lord Callanan said: “[Low-traffic policies] can work in some areas, but in other areas there’s more than a suspicion that all they’re doing is just driving traffic into neighbouring areas which is just causing more congestion.” Report by Buseld.
