Business owner reacts to bumper energy profits

Nicola Elliott, the founder of a British jam manufacturer, reacts to energy companies announcing record profits.

British Gas owner Centrica revealed that earnings at its retail supplier business soared by nearly 900%.

Nicola thinks that this is “unethical”, saying: “We’re nowhere near making that kind of profit in our business, so why should they take all of the money and take it away from small businesses.” Report by Covellm.
