The faulty connector may keep the vehicles' rear camera image from appearing.

In 2021, Honda extended the warranty to automobiles experiencing the issue.

The issue has led to 273,870 warranty claims since May 2017, Honda says.

No injuries or deaths have been reported as a result of the problem, Yahoo reports.

Affected vehicles will receive a new cable harness between the terminal connections and display audio.

They will then be equipped with a straightening cover over the connector to ensure that the display unit functions properly.
