Labour: Rivers, lakes and seas are treated like open sewers
As water firms issue apologies for sewage spills, Shadow Environment Secretary Jim McMahon says it is a "good first step" but adds that what we don't see is "any leadership from government" on the matter.
Mr McMahon goes on to say "this is now 13 years of a Conservative government where literally nothing works in this country".
