Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Tracy Connors is a veteran Hollywood film director who has worked as a second assistant director—a work experience she credits to one word: "nepotism." Previously, and at the time that she was interviewed by Addy Adds in October 2020, she co-hosted a podcast with photographer Peter Duke called The Reality Operating System.

This podcast later evolved into The Paddy Wagon, featuring Addy Adds and Peter Duke.
