Labour: ‘Shocking’ government approach to BBC impartiality

Labour’s Louise Haigh says that the report into BBC chairman Richard Sharp reveals “profound implications for the BBC and its relationship with the government.” Mr Sharp has resigned as the broadcaster’s chairman after a review by Adam Heppinstall KC found that he breached the rules for public appointment.
