The sea of Japan has been a hot spot for military activity recently.

North Korea has been firing missile after missile into the body of water, all in response to what they say are provocations on the peninsula involving joint military drills between the US and South Korea.

Now Russia is joining the fray, flying what they say are routine maneuvers over international waters.
