I bet the news media got it wrong! Let's take a look at SHINN v. MARTINEZ RAMIREZ

A friend sent me an article from NPR on SHINN v.

MARTINEZ RAMIREZ, a U.S. Supreme Court decisions which purports to limit an individual’s right to allege ineffective assistance of counsel.

I told him that I do not look to any media coverage of a case and just accept the report.

So, today, we will look at the Opinion on that case and try to figure out what the Court is saying and more importantly, why.
