‘Game on’ for NI Protocol deal, says Sinn Féin President

Sinn Féin President Mary Lou McDonald says she is “heartened” by the signs of progress on the Northern Ireland Protocol and that it was "very much game on".

The leader’s comments come as Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is holding talks with Stormont leaders as speculation mounts that a deal on the protocol could be close.
