This village in Maharashtra runs school for only one student | OneIndia News

Zilla Parishad primary school in Ganeshpur village of Washim district in Maharashtra has been running a school for just one student since the last two years.

The school has shown us a fantastic example of how action speaks louder than words.

The only child studying in this school is Karthik Shigaokar.

He now studies in third class.

Karthik is the only student studying in this school for the last two years.

Aside from Karthik, there is no other youngster admitted to the school.

The school has only one teacher named Kishore Mankar who teaches Karthik all the subjects.

Kishore Mankar the school teacher told ANI, that, โ€˜There is only one student enrolled in the school for the last 2 years.

I'm the only teacher in school.โ€™ #school #Maharashtra #government
