Fox News reports that California is preparing for even more atmospheric river storms following weeks of heavy rain that have devastated the state.

At least 17 people have died as a result of the storms so far.

As of January 11, over 51,000 customers were without power, according to PowerOutage.us.

The National Weather Service (NWS) reports that the San Francisco Bay area is under a wind advisory until 7 p.m.

In the North Bay, a flood watch was issued, with the forecast of additional rains increasing concerns of flooding.

On January 10, Interstate 80 was shut down as snow blanketed the highway and created unsafe traffic conditions.
