Braverman yet to find willing airline for Rwanda flights
The Home Secretary has suggested she has yet to find a new airline to deport migrants to Rwanda.
A Privilege Style plane used for the first flight in June was abandoned at the last minute due to legal challenges, and the Spanish charter airline pulled out in October amid pressure from campaigners.
Asked if she had found another airline to operate flights to Rwanda, Suella Braverman told the Lords Justice and Home Affairs Committee: “We have a lot of ongoing discussions with several airlines.” Report by Jonesia.
