Afghan activist recounts torture in prison

People who speak out against the growing Taliban restrictions on women risk arrest and torture.

Activist Parwana Nijrabi spent 24 days in jail for participating in a women's rights protest in Kabul.

She's now in Germany as a refugee and spoke to DW about her experience in prison.
