President Biden says he wants Congress to prohibit "assault weapons" before the end of the year in response to the recent mass murders in Colorado and Virginia.

Following an online poll asking if he should reinstate accounts that have not "broken the law or participated in severe spam," Twitter CEO Elon Musk said that he is giving a "amnesty" for banned accounts.
