Hancock on I’m a Celeb ‘trivialises’ Covid-19 deaths

A member of the Covid-19 Bereaved Families for Justice group says Matt Hancock appearing on ‘I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!’ “trivialises the monumental loss this country has seen” under his role as health secretary.

Lobby Akinnola, whose father Femi died of Covid-19 during the pandemic, says that the Conservative MP’s appearance on the ITV reality programme shows that his “priority” is “promoting himself”.
