Punjab: Nearly 7,000 drug smugglers arrested since July, 406 kg Heroin recovered| Oneindia news

The Punjab Police has arrested as many as 6,997 drug smugglers since July 5, 2022 and registered 5,346 FIRs, of which 580 are charges for possessing quantities of the drug.

The crackdown comes amid Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s war against the drugs menace plaguing the state.
