Cough Syrup in Gambia
In the Gambia, parents react to the recent measures taken by the authorities to stop the import of cough syrups that have been linked to the deaths of 69 children in the country.
"If it is due to the negligence of these people [the Gambian government and ministry of health] ... it is painful," says one father who lost his two-year-old daughter.
Activists have also been trying to hold the government to account for what they call "medical malpractice" after the president made a nationwide address banning new imports but has yet to hold anybody in the ministry of health accountable.
