Ugandan Health Ministry offers assurances after first Ebola death since 2019

The Ugandan Ministry of Health has confirmed the first death from Ebola since 2019, an instance of the Sudan strain, in Mubende district, 150 kilometers west of the capital Kampala.

A 24-year-old male "presented with EVD symptoms and later succumbed", the ministry announced on Twitter on Tuesday.
