Queen's death formally announced to Privy Council
Lord President of the Council and Leader of the House of Commons Penny Mordaunt has formally announced the death of Queen Elizabeth II to the Accession Council.
She told members of the Privy Council: "My Lords, it is my sad duty to inform you that Her Most Gracious Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II has passed away." Report by Buseld.
